Lastly, Grand Junction earned a B in our nursing category and a B- for long-term care. My loved one was at another community and received better care at the previous care community. I wish they did more activities for the memory care residents.
It was depressing, but I know they were all doing the best they can do with the clientele that they have. For a memory care facility the activities is okay. We picked this community because, mainly for the location to family members. Germantown Plantation is a combination independent living and assisted living community with luxury apartments which face a three-story atrium.

The feedback given to me from my family and loved one was that everything was positive during her stay. She was very well taken care of, and we were surprised by the cost but she did receive great care. We were so lucky and blessed to have found Western Slope, the staff have just been incredible. They are always sincere with whatever they are doing. We have not met one person that was not kind, or professional. They always encouraged the residents to eat in the dining hall because it always was a wonderful experience.
